Repair water level sensor?

Recommended Posts

HelmutGTI

I accidently popped my sensor in two, the shaft and the "wiring" are now separate,

The two wires must be sodled to something in the plastic pipe.

Has any one repaired one before?

Or is it a new one that has to be bought?

Kind regards!

No, they are not soldered into anything with this plastic pipe, just each other as the magnet needs, which raises or lowers with the water level causing the warning indicator to come on. You can repair them but as Farmer has said, buy a new one as the time and effort it did take me to repair mine as well as remove all the radweld so that the magnet could move, it would have been easier to just replace it.
