Camshaft paar needed! Still avaliable?

Recommended Posts

Lunatic

Hi,

sorry for starting a new topic, but this is very important to my friend and me. We had a mechanic to change the camshaft. When we got the car back home we saw that the timing belt was slipping of. So we disassembled the engine and found out that one part is missing at the camshaft - I marked it red in the picture.

Do you know if this part with the screw is still availiable at Peugeot? Do you even have a partnumber?

Thanks

Are you sure that is needed on your engine and camshaft combination? It wasn't used on all engines - I think it was just the early ones but I'm sure that someone will confirm.

Only seems to be used on TU engines

It is definitely used on some XU 8v engines.

I am a 100% sure that i need it! It is a XU9JAZ engine, but it is an aftermarked camshaft with the old system. The TU part is maybe the same?

TU isn't the same one unfortunately. You'll need PN 0810.10.

NFP means ne fabrique pas, which means not available anymore. In the for sale sub section a 1.6 head is up for free which still has the retainer plate ;).
