Gear linkage sizes

I have a 1.9 red gti 1990 on a g plate just about finished full resto but stuck on the gear linkage. I replaced the original rusty ones with 3 alloy type which are adjustable however it seems that reverse is hitting the seat bolster! Can anyone tell me what the correct sizes for all 3 linkages are? Also am I missing something that is causing this? I disposed of the old ones so can't compare them.

All the adjustment does is alter where the lever sits at rest.

Lengthen the long one under the car which will move the lever forward at rest.

I always suggest to remove the 2 linkages on the box, get someone inside to hold the stick then adjust the linkage to suit, yes there is set length's but this is the 205 where no 2 are alike, Maybe being a Alloy rod the thickness may hit the exhaust?
