O'ring for throttle body on 1.9

Recommended Posts

johnboy1984

Hi folks.. I have my throttle body off to clean it and I'd like to replace the large o'ring and while I'm there the one on the adjustment screw also... Does anybody know part numbers or sizes, I can't find anything about it on the net surprisingly

Easiest way just find your local hydraulic supplier and buy a couple of O rings to suit.

No probs mate.. I had thought of that but like everything you go to do I was expecting the "that's a special size" speech from them

Peugeot should supply the throttle body O ring

Adjustment screw O ring has been no longer made / supplied for some years

Thanks my man.. My local dealer is the most uninterested parts man I've ever met.  I'll go to the next closest and try them

o ring sizes usually follow the as568 standard. It's a rather long list of 'standard' o ring sizes. You'll probably find a suitable o ring. If you do, please keep us updated on the number?
