NEW driveshaft seals- OLD VS NEW??

Hi,

 

i need to replace my driveshaft seals in my gearbox i saw that peugeot came out with a new driveshaft seals design .

i was wondering , which one is better ? should i hunt down the old style seals or stick with the new one?

not had any issues with the newer design, probably a little easier to fit if you dont have an appropriate tool.

Not particularly new either, Peugeot have supplied them like that for years now. 

 

Ive never had issue with them, also used really cheap ones off eBay with success too though.
