Fuel and oil pressure gauge stopped working.

Recommended Posts

Oh how simple 205 ownership was, fast forward several years of neglect and it's like back to school!

Basically the fuel gauge and the oil pressure gauge (assuming that is the top right guage could be temp)have decided to stop. I assume they either share a plug or earth somewhere could well likely be near where i was fiddling with the tachemetric relay. However any help greatfully appreciated.

Top right is oil temp, you wont see anything on there unless you get it properly warm, e.g. take it on a motorway.

The fuel gauge is pretty independent from the other gauges, is the light on? Check the connections on the sender (next to the pump).

Have you checked your fuses?

See the attached file for a list of the fuses, not sure what year your car is but the fuel gauge & oil pressure sender are coverd by the same fuse on the majority of years of 205 production.
