I have yet to see anything specific to the RS engine, it is mostly identical to the J4R engine in torque specification and tolerances however so you can use that information.

 

 

Two things you need to do with any pug iron block before going further, measure the bores for wear, they can wear heavily on the thrust faces giving an oval bore, more so than the Wet liner engines, and specifically with the J4RS engine measure the head height, as standard they are 137mm +/- 0.05, a maximum of 0.20mm skim is allowed and repair gaskets can be used.

 

unfortunately there are many that have not heeded this specification and planed rather more than this off the heads leading to extremely tight valve to piston clearances, they are quite minimal as standard.
