Alloy Xu9/10 Ac Sump And Constella Sump Baffle

Hi,

 

 

I've searched around a bit on the forum but couldn't find a direct answer.

Can anyone tell me if the Constella PTS-style sump baffle will clear the XU9/10 alloy sump with trap door?

 

My current layout is: block - spacer/stiffener - gasket - sump

No, it's a copy of the PTS one which is steel only, If you using the Alloy sump then I would use the PTS france kit, not cheap thou

Thanks Miles. I already was afraid it wouldn't fit. Where can I find the PTS one you mentioned?

 

Depening on the price I could switch over to steel as well, only bummer would be my custom sensor loom which will have to be partially redone then for the oil temp :P.

Constella do one to suit the Mi16 finned alloy sump if thats any help.

That is an option but I think the Constella baffle plate will have better performance under hard braking. Apparently I drive like a retard since I manage to surge the pump on the street whilst enjoying myself on back roads :P. The LSD brings out the worst in me.

I think that is what I am going to do. Get the empty alloy pan with the constella baffle plate.

The constalla is a direct copy of the PTS egg box one as in the pic, for the 306 type just look on the Peugeot sport site
