Clarion Radio Reset

Hi all,

 

I managed to get an old clarion for my 205 GR project from a 309 being scrapped. I don't have the code but I seem to remember it can be worked out from the soldering on the main PCB board- can anybody help me out or advise?

I've looked at 5 or 6 since that thread but still can't figure out reading the solder joints. I re-coded all the solder link route and they all worked.

I've decided to go for the old try every combination - theres 625.... So it shouldn't take THAT long

 

I got it for free so a couple of hours work sat with a brew seems fair pay off

223 codes entered and it now works! only took an hour or so, about 1/3 of the way through the 14 sheets of codes I had!

..made me wonder at the time if a coded Clarion ever manage to deter a thief!!

I am not sure which pin is classed as number 1 but there used to be a little program which decoded these

 

The one which I came across in the past had some spyware on it IIRC so be careful what you download when searching.

Hi Guys, my clarion recently stopped working and displayed this code. How do I go about trying these codes? Is there a particular way to input them?

I think you have to press the 'Band' button for up to 5 seconds after entering the code.
