Xu10J2Te Throttle Body Gasket

Recommended Posts

I've been trying to source the correct gasket for my 2.0 8v Turbo throttle body which looks like this:

On Servicebox I can't find the correct part. This is all I can find:

Photo%2016-04-2015%2022%2042%2024_zpsosb

Number 3 which is a rubber ring (incorrect) but shows the correct 3 bolt flange. Part number 0365 32.

or

Number 21 which is a gasket, but shows the wrong 2 bolt flange. Part number 1635 58.

I would just get hold of some gasket paper and cut out one yourself.

The drawing on Peugeot Servicebox under 406 looks correct for that second part number you listed.

Listed as £3.37 inc VAT and doesn't say it's NFP (unlike the later seal, which is NFP)

Thanks Ant! It seems there are many variants of this engine.

I think there's only fundamentally two different variants of the engine, RGY and RGX, but there will as always be detail changes with wiring, pipework and ancillaries depending on which car it was sourced from.

Servicebox isn't infallible and sometimes you'll find diagrams or listings that are wrong under one car but right under another - hence the diagram showing a two hole flange on the Citroen one you listed to when quite clearly that's not the case!

The diagram is a bit wrong for the XM by the looks of it, same part number though, 1635.58.

Alternatively a smear of sealant would suffice.
