Omex Icv Testing

Recommended Posts

Harni

Hi Guys,

Hoping someone here may be able to help me. My car is going for mapping next Friday so at the moment, I'm in the process of double checking everything is ok. Everything seems to be but only thing i haven't done yet is test the ICV to make sure the ECU is controlling it properly. The map i currently have doesn't have any idle control so can't use that so i was wondering if anyone had a process i can use to make sure the ECU is controlling the ICV? All i want to do is see the plunger moving so is there anything i can put in the software quickly to see it working? I only really understand the very basics of the omex software!

Thanks

Depends on what type of ICV. ie 2, 3 or 4 wire?

4 wire. Ive since read that it should push out for a second then back when you fire the ecu up so will give that a go saturday.
