Heaters busted the other day. Managed to get it fixed by dropping out the fan and cleaning it, and putting in a new rheostat. Heater is very, very good now compared to what it used to be like!

Also fitted Clarion Radio cassette, which is a nice touch. Also replaced rear light lense as mine had a leak.

Getting geeky now!

Reproduction period-correct dealer plates, rear screen decal and tax disc holder!

Oh, and a sneaky car park pic!:)

Today I fixed my speakers, got the cassette player fitted (Clarion), took door card off and sealed up door holes to stop passenger footwell leak, replaced rear plastic trim as the original was discoloured a bit, stitched drivers seat (new seats soon), fitted new GTI badges to rear (I hate Tigerseal), a thorough cleaning inside and out, two coats of Plasticare followed by bumper dressing,

Thanks Gary for the kind words :)

It's coming along, looking good for a 180K miler!

Need to fit some new trim clips to the passenger trim next, and sort the radio aeriel.

Then the big jobs are to buy and fit a new set of seats, then get the suspension renewed at the front and the rear beam raised a tad and finally think about a drivers door respray!

Yeah I know, I tried turning them around but they wouldn't slot back in and sit properly! So I gave up for now!
