This week my 205 has served it's first useful purpose in many years. For the last 3 days I have used it as an office :D

I want to work from home, but it's impossible with a 9 month old boy. So I decided to work from my garage instead. I've stuck an oil filled electric radiator in the boot and am currently sat in the back of the 205 with the front seats forward. It's warm and cozy and rather comfortable B). And impressed that my wifi gives a good signal from about 50m away!

Collected it from Miles & enjoyed a nice long drive home on the back roads :D

Very nice one being built up there at the moment - after seeing the nice new brake pipes on it, I cant wait to get the £££ saved up and get mine done in a few months as well :)

Opened the garage door, looked at, thought dam it, your not going to be on the road again this year. Closed the door and went for a cry!

Skint, so skint!

That's what I've been doing with my Focus RS for the last 3 & 1/2 years :(

For everything I've spent on the FRS since I bought it in '06 I really should make an effort and get it back on the road as the longer I leave it standing the more expensive it's going to be to get it running again. Somehow the £££ always ends up being spent on the 205 instead (which isn't necessarily a bad thing)

Went to the builder's merchant and bought a lot of wood. Again. It's a very useful van.

Finished fitting the new rear beam, wheel bearings and reattached the exhaust and brakes. Just got the front suspension to do and then I can finally drive it. Bought it 2 weeks ago and has been sat behind my gate ever since. Can't wait to take it for a spin through the lanes. Fed up of just looking at it lol.

I'll look out for it tomorrow! Weather was supposed to be bad today too but the rain has been on and off. Fingers crossed it isn't too bad tomorrow

Jesus I think ill be removing them and putting in some larger ones to hold my boat anchor, that's shocking to see such a reinforced structure bend and tear apart without those bolts in, then again its just the weakest part of it

doesnt need larger bolts, just all the bolts that should be in there.

any PSA car with a removable battery tray uses the same M8 bolts.

As above, if all the bolts are present the stud in the gearbox will snap out of the casting long before you bend the battery tray.

Edit: IIRC the 'group A' mount was a tubular cradle bolted to the chassis leg and several points on the gearbox.
