Paul - I have a D turbo engine in a 306 if you're interested! cheap cheap! (and rebuilt ;) )

I'm not entirely sure it's the crank seal on the TB side because the belt is dry?! It's coming from higher up and from the engine side.

I think the easier option is to get another engine (maybe courtsey of DCC) and stick a td04 on it

Power does corrupt!

I think my car is due a new clutch

Going to put a manual boost controller on the td04.

All of the piping basically stays the same apart from the air intake pipework which is going to be 3" instead of 2.5"

I think my mate is sorting me out with an oil line for it

Buying an engine off Dcc to rebuild

Bit of a mini update for you all

these are awesome engines i love them!

ive fitted one to a suzuki sj with a rwd ldv gearbox

and had an old 306 with one, was really quick for a diesel i was suprised, but the high boost kept blowing head gaskets so i got annoyed and got rid

Why I've just bought some head studs

Think the t2 is having enough of 31psi!

recently picked up an engine off Dcc to rebuild and stick some Hdi rods in to handle the boost.

Looking to run the td04 on about 35psi, so the thickest conrods you can get are in order (hdi 16v)

got my air filter setup sorted, 57 x 63mm reducer elbow, a bit of flexi pipe, a tee for the oil breather pipework and a few joiners

Got to clock the turbo next and order up some gaskets so I can make an adapter plate

Oil line is sorted

Yeah

Speaking to a few people that have done this is proved a reliable 180ish Bhp setup.

People run the td04 at 45psi and they still have an engine left, but I'm not going that far with it
