Lc1 Running Maximum Rich Afr

Recommended Posts

pugpete1108

I've got the car running again today but can't seem to get my afr down from max on the mega tune screen gauge (around 7.3 )

I've tried trimming the fuel over the entire map (so much it wont even idle) but it still won't budge.

Now either I've wired it in wrong or the actual sensor itself is shagged.

I can't see any leaks in the exhaust but even if there was this should lean it out surely?

Any help with this would be great, ill post a wiring diagram later when I get in

It's running megasquirt management btw.

If I recall, 5v or 0.1v (or somesuch) is used to indicate a fault, or a non-warmed-up sensor? You sure the free-air calibration phase has been done and your voltage graph is configured how you want it?

I did the free air calibration and all was well as per the instructions, the rest of what you said went waaay over my head:)

Ill double check my wiring then try calibrating it again and see

I had the same issue. Throw it in the bin, the controller is broken.

Edit:

Just checked the wiring and I wired the wrong analogue up.

Used the yellow instead of the brown.

All fine now
