My ignition map wasn't changed from the basemap, I'm wanting to check its near enough right, what is the best way to check and alter if needed?

Briefly:

Plug a laptop in, alter values, see if altered values work, if they do, job done, if not change them again.

AKA, get it mapped.

It was mapped but never saw him change the timing side. I'm aware of how to change it.

It's in the manual on omex's web site, Mind if you have no way of knowing what it's doing i would leave alone, I'd be shocked if it was not changed or it would pink/knock at somepoiint in the rev range
