is this normal due to the conversion? i have the original manifold modified to fit, a centre and rear after market exhaust system but unsure on the makes. the back pressure and the sheare noise of the car is at times laughable?

how are you measuring back pressure? A high gas speed is not back pressure...

They are pretty loud as they have such big valves in the head. Its a bit of a mission to get them quiet.

I mean it has alot of pressure coming out of the exhaust tip. Not back pressure. You walk past the back of the car and it could blow you over lol

Try not to aim it at parked cars - i set off a lot of alarms that way. Can't beat the sound on an Mi.

Try a standard system.

My system was standard and the exhaust was powerful in the fashion the OP describes.

Yeah mine did this too, it's pretty common with straight-through systems.
