Mi16 Dipstick Measurements .

hi all , would someone be kind enough to give me a couple of measurements from there mi16 dipstick please ??

 

The first measurement i need is from the seating base of the orange tip , (the bit that butts up to the metal dipstick tube) to the minimum mark .

 

the second , again from the orange seating base , to the maximum mark .

Orange suggests that it's the wrong dipstick you've got - 1.9 Mi ones are typically yellow...

Even so Mr Pedantic, that changes the answer because?

 

It suggests he's colorblind, or just thinking of the 8v dipstick, it doesn't suggest much else unless you're ASSuming!

Since the plastic crumbled on my dipstick, this is one question I came to ask for my (USDM) 405 Mi16! so I'll add my thanks here.

 

(I bump to add the USDM bit just in case I've missed something and that I don't have the same 1.9 XU9 that everyone else has seeing as things like the timing belts have different numbers of teeth)
