1.1 Junior Shell For S16 Coversion

hello

 

i have bought a 1995 1.1 3door junior for my s16 conversion and stupidly not checked suitability for the conversion.i have come across a few post that mention that the none gti chassis may have different driver side engine mount and crossmember mounting points is this true

 

any help would be great

A 1995 car should be fine as far as I know. It is only the early cars that used the XY engine (up to about 1987) that had different mounts.

 

Someone I am sure will be able to confirm I am correct.

 

The other issue is the rear arches are smaller on base models for rear wheel clearance.

Yer thats correct Tom, only the xy engined cars had different mounts, all shells/models share the same mounts after as you say ~1987
