Must agree that mani looks good.. I just got a 4-1 (couldn't find a 4-2-1) and the branches look rather short compared to that thing! Keep up the good work mate.

Given the recent weather change I thought it best to have my tyres changed now than later as its not worth risking..

I only took it on my phone for Instagram on a whim but thought Id stick it in here as it is history/updates on the car.

The rear I had on the car was a 19" but off my reg the guy in euro's reckons it should have 18" all round..

Either way, they're soooooo much nicer to use :D

During, cleaned and ready (ignore how dirty the car is, local council decided to cut a tree down next to the rallye and aim the chainsaw over it :/ )

Engine, well that is the same as the last update.. Tucked away built in the garage haha

Thanks, Went yellow on the steelies as the oem steelies are yellow... It's the same yellow jcb's are powder coated in.

matt, dont suppose you know if the S2 block in me rallye is 'taller' than the S1 block or just the inlet manifold.

trying to get my bonnet closed. plans always been to fit an S1 aluminum inlet as i have it in my head its smaller.

shed some light please!

Read through this thread again, really liking rallyes at the moment! ;)

Do you know what car the old recaro recliners you had are originally out of? I quite fancy a set.

Cheers,

Robbie.

Thanks! Do you have to change the seat frames a lot for them to fit in a 205?

ive got them on 205 frames, but the driving position is a bit high. im having seat bars welded into mine in the summer, and im just going to stick them on some universal forward and back sliders, so should be nice and low then.

As above about the seats, as for the block I honestly don't know..

Ive had my s1 rallye engine, a 205 xs and a 106 s1 xsi and they all looked the same in height.... nothing noticeable, maybe 106 moaners would be worth a look..?

Trying to pull my finger out and get back into cleaning again as im always slack over the winter so gave the car a wash this afternoon, came out well where it was waxed when I detailed it.. only problem is my wheels have gone funny :(

Three are in perfect condition still but the drivers right (used to be drivers rear until the tyre swop less than 200 miles ago) is covered in cracks and is chipping like f*** and the wheel underneath is all rusty.. originally I thought I have a seized brake calliper and its getting hot but it drives fine :/

One of my wheels had been painted with wood gloss in the past and Im wondering if its reacted as the others are fine.

I don't think its the powder coaters as ive used the guy for a few years now on various parts..

Not sure what to do to be honest, so far ive considered

Trying to find one wheel and have it coated

Try to find a pair so I have a spare

Get four steels and have them done in white as itll be more desirable for selling

Get alloys of some description

Still no updates on the engine yet either im afraid.
