[misc_work] 91' 205 Dturbo Rallye Rep

Recommended Posts

back 10 years ago i had a 205 sceptre td, i remember it came with 1.6 gti running gear, hubs, subframes, axle, but not the struts. also pas, electric windows and other extras. my old man and me swapped the 1.8td for a 1.9td from a 306. before the engine conversion i had an impreza vent fitted, (which bearing in mind was cutting edge, so was the st tropez bodykit!!) luckily the 306 top mounted intercooler fitted perfectly under the vent! the motor went well!

then 1 year later i had a 306 d turbo, i was one of the first to install a front mount intercooler diy, allard tuning, and the derv doctor made expensive kits though. i used the citroen xantia inlet manifold, and mondeo tdci intercooler, i was very happy with the cars torque! pump and turbo was wound right out, must of made 140bhp easily!

306 looks smart. Think I've seen it on pug 306.net. funny as I've done the opposit and gone 306 to 205.

Hoping to fit an xantia engine in mine soon, is it a straight forward job? Any help would be good

Cheers. Give it a stage 1 tune, type it on you tube for a guide its really easy and will make the car GTI spec easily.

Preferred the pepperpots and don't rate the black indicators...what I'd do for my STDT back.

I'm really liking the wheels personally. Indicators are really annoying me! Got them for 99p off ebay to get mine through the MOT.

Anyone got any orange ones???
