what did it make? :)

Both wrong. It made 168bhp, forgot to check the torque. Taking into account of the slipping issues and no cooling fan and that the rollers may be high I'd say + others reckon it would be around 170-175bhp

Yeah does shift well. Stuck with a modified Astra VXR, by modified I mean it had a very nice sounding exhaust system so I don't know what it was packing.

It certainly attracted attention when it ran on the rollers. I thought it was a Lassa Tyres smoke machine at first! :P

Yes I know they aren't accurate. I do still think it will be making around that power without clutch slip and a decent cooling fan to cool charge temps. An XUD can make your quotes on a standard turbo. All the diesel 'Guru's' came down to watch it and had predicted around that mark with the set-up.

I will be getting it dyno'd on a local one known to be pretty accurate so we'll have to see.

This happened to the car a few weeks ago sadly :(

So since then it's been off the road and I've been trying to sort other bits out while I could

Unsrpung ceramic paddle clutch

Bought some new turbo hoses to replace the tatty old ones with holes in

new air filter and ducting

Currently waiting for a wing from some useless car breakers to come to get it back on the road.

Here's the dyno graph as well, not very good due to heat soak, clutch slip and a useless operator who bogged it down when I said not too.

Busy junction, about 5 cars turning off apart from one who I hadn't seen. Luckily it's only exterior damage on the my car as he just clipped the corner.

Those operators where a joke honestly!

The cars all back together now and running. It has a cheap tempory dented wing (was mint until I tried removing it with all that sealant on  )

Here's some pics for those interested

Just a quick 3rd gear pull video I took earlier. Only boosting 25psi so it's not making much power, its just while the clutch beds in.

Can you explain the Audi tt fuel filter set up please? How is it done and does it help?

It's just plumbed in in-place of the old one, new pipe work may be needed.

The benefits are better flow as the standard type seems pretty restrictive and better leak prevention as my previous one was leaking. Works out the same price as a replacement standard one.

no need if you use a later 1.9 lump complete though, as its all in a nice plastic housing with cheap mess free filter changes.

That's what it had, all XUD 306's have it.
