'rippled' Stonechip On Sill

Recommended Posts

Obey_R

Well shes booked in for paint this week but I'm yet to coat the replacement sill in what looks like rippled stonechip.

Can anyone say what it is that leaves that effect? I've tried normal aresol stonechip but it just dried smooth - I would use that but only half of the sill has been replaced so they need to match as best as possible!

I think the stuff you want is gravitex mate, it will apparently leave the rippled finish you're after.

As above, you need a proper underbody gun to apply it, to be honest you might be as well leaving it to your bodywork/paint man to do.
