Yey, another Rallye build thread, will follow closely

1.9 GTI brake set is very good. What are you doing about the rear beam/rear brake?

S1 or S2 Rallye steels?

i dont no probally leaving the drum brakes as they will be more than good enough my friend has 10 205 gti's so i will never be stuck for bits

s2 steels as they are wider i had a set but sold them when i had a 106 rallye

They rub on the rear arches with people in, I have some stiffer shocks and 1.9 gti TB's to try and solve thise though, also 5mm wheels spacers didnt help!

Also I had problems with the fronts rubbing but have solved it with different springs.

;) I'm always suprised this isn't done more often. Tis also the lighter option and more in keeping with the 'proper' 205 Rallye.

i actually just sold r6 carbs and a inlet and a newman cam for a 8v so cant be arsed with the hastle of getting all the bits again

106 gti engine would be good but its not often you see boosted rallye's as most seem to go bodies or carbs route
