Uprated Torsion Bars?

Recommended Posts

MARKMI16

My 205 has too much body roll for hard track use, so I need 23 or 25mm uprated torsions bars. Can anyone help me;

a) find a supplier in the UK?

:D my 205 1.6 is running rear discs, so I assume the rear beam has been swapped out at some point, so does it matter if the rear beam is 205 or 309 when I come to purchase the uprated torsion bars...I guess it does!?

Thanks,

Mark.

Yes it does, as the torsion and anti-roll bars are longer on the 309 beam and hence are not interchangeable.

Yes, but make sure you're sitting down when you click the link:

There is also an ebay seller as per post here:

http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?s...sion+bars\

Current link:

No feedback on them as yet, but seller states they are tempered (which some in the past haven't been!).

Fantastic, thanks mate! I see that last ebay link shows the same photo as pug1off's advert in the Performance French car mag!

Now all I need to do is work out which ream beam the car is using...sh1t!
