Diagnostic Tool

Recommended Posts

Matteo

Hello, I borrowed from a friendly Citroen garage an old diagnostic tool used in the early '90 years on Citroen ZX, BX, AX and so on.

I know for sure it works with:

- Citroen ZX 1,9L (XU9JAK-D6E-Bosch MP3.1) and XU9JAZ-DKZ-Bosch M1.3

- Citroen BX 1,6L (XU5JA-B6D-Bosch LE2) and BX 1,9L (XU9JA2-D6A-Bosch LE3.1)

Will It work with my 205 1,9 GTI (XU9JA-D6B-Bosch LE2)?

The tool comes with several different connectors, but I looked around in the engine bay, near the ECU, in the fuse box, but I can' t find out any suitable socket to connect the tool :(

Nothing particolar. I just would like to know the real time sensors reading.

Pretty much all diagnostics can be carried out with a good multimeter if you know the parameters of what your checking.

Sensors are no different granted it would be easier with an ossiccilscope but TBH a multimeter is fine.

Good luck on your checks
