Smoking Exhaust Problems

Recommended Posts

mickie

this is on a 323 so i hope no-one minds me asking..

the problem is smoke in the mornings, loads come out, its like a 007 smoke screen, then it goes away pretty quick

with the car cold, i took all spark plugs out, they're free of oil, looking down onto the pistons tho, they're all soaked in oil.

the cars got a turbo, compression tests with it cold are 165,150,160,160, with a drop of clean oil they get 180,165,180,170..

valves are lapped in, new valve seals, new headgasket and a new turbo.

whats the answer then ? sorry if this seems like a simple answer, i just need to be 100% before i go stripping the engine back

cheers
