Air Inlet Butterfly Sprockets

Recommended Posts

tzracing

Good afternoon...

Are these butterfly sync half sprockets still sold by Peugeot, or is better to remove them, take it to a workshop to manufacture new ones in aluminum CNC or a better league like steel?

They have some worn teeth and other day jumped from normal position making the engine rev without idle on 3000 rpm. I fool it with a small roughing file and lots of grease to keep 405 MI16 on service but which is the best solution?

Even if they are available for sale, the price will be ridiculous.

What we did was ask our local shop to make spare ones ща duraluminum.
