309 4X4 Dimma

Recommended Posts

M@tt

I thought i'd do a brief post about my latest aquisition. Its the only 309 4x4 Dimma remaining iirc

basically a 309 Dimma with 405 mi164x4 running gear grafted on, completed by Dimma themselves back in the day

To be fair its a bit of a shed and needs a complete rebuild but i like a project :D I'm sure i could hear Dave laughing as i drove off with it on the trailer

Any way heres a few pics

That sure will be a project! I was a little surprised when i heard you'd acquired it, as Dave was well up for cracking on with it when i bought his White 309 a few years back, i kept forgetting to ask how it was going!

Good luck with it Matt! :)

Wow! I cant wait to see this one unfold!

Is there much rust? I'll have a reasonably tidy three door 309 shell availabe soon if it would help!?

Isn't this the one that had the enginebay already painted in blue/purple metallic?

Thought I've seen some pictures of that on the web.. Can't find them anymore though where the enginebay is painted..

yep your right sander thats the one :)

dave the previous owner had the engine bay blasted so its bare metal at the mo so i'll probabaly chuck a bit of etch primer over it at some point to help preserve it
