Sad Valve Stuck Closed?

Can the sad valves get stuck closed?? If this is the case will the car run too rich on startup?? As wont the ecu put more fuel in when engines cold but because the sad wont open the car wont have enough air for thd fuel

SAD faults are rare, and besides, wouldn't explain your issue - holding the throttle a fraction open would give the same effect as SAD being open given its just a valve to let a little air bypass throttle body.

Ok ant.. Im picking my brains with this..

Right heres the scenario ant.. On initial start up.. It wont rev properly.. It splutters and pops and really struggles to rev under 3k.

I had it running up today till fan cut in and , when its hot its alot more free reving. Almost normal..so im thinking its only really overfuelling when cold!

What do you think?
