Saxo Vtr High Idle And Jerkiness

Saxo when hot revs itself to 3k and holds there, restarting engine makes no difference till it has properly cooled down.

Car feels jerky too, can't see any obvious air leaks and have cleaned icv and throttle body to no avail.

I realize this is the sort of thing that could be a lot of things so wanted to ask for some pointers.

 

Apologies for the vague title I can't change it now, maybe if a mod see's this they can edit it to something more descriptive? (done - Anthony)

If it's not an air leak, surely it must be the Ecu coolant sensor?

probably idle valve or air leak, temp sensor wont elevate idle speed that much
