Thanks guys. It's been little progress lately as I've bought a house with double garage (50m2) and I'm in a process of selling my apartment.

But I'm soon finished fixing one dent on the roof of the T16, and when that's done it's painting time :)

Wow!

Did not know you had yet another wild build on the way, only been aware of the 2.3-liter 205 :)

Do you have any interior to this? If not, I have one very pretty black full leather interior from a mi16x4 (Seats, door trim and steering wheel) soft and fine leather still, very slightly wear on the driver seat but no holes. looks very nice.
Scream out if you need it. unless I will put it up for sale soon, but thought you would get the first crack at it :)

Keep up the good work! love reading building threads like this! :)

Sadly I don't think I'lll have it ready for 2014.... :(

It would be absolutely cool to join such a trip though!

As per previous comments, the usual B1ack_Mi16 / Norweigen dedication and attention to detail.

Mandic's (Ziga's) 405 T16 on the EuroTrip in 2009 was very impressive; this should be spectacular.

Regarding seats I might be interested, but you got any pics? Are they for Phase 1 or Phase 2 car?

Btw: did you send me an email about som TuV papers some time ago? I might have forgotten all about it, beeing ultra busy at work these days.

Nice! looking forward to when they all are finished!

Sorry for the late response! been enjoying my holiday(finally some good weather)

I was at my garage the other day and took some pics. (they are still in the car and not been cleaned as you can see, just whiped of the worst dust)

I believe they are Ph1 as the car is a 1990mod. (i don't know when the ph2 came out)

Took pictures from different angels of the worn bit on the drivers seat. Let me know if you want some different pics.

As i said, the leather is still soft. and damn! they are comfortable :) to bad they don't fit straigt into a 205 or 309 :P

Yes! I asked if you could send me a copy of the TuV papers and the diff on 1.6 and 1.9 gti, regarding my 205 8v turbo build :) no stess!

Finished spraying the car with sanding primer:

Found some cheap 19" geniune peugeot wheels for my 407 also, they were not in good condition, so I repainted them and they turned out mint :)

IMAG1097_zps51f982ea.jpg

House that caused a lot of delay

And garage where T16 and my 205 will live :)

Sprayed base coat

IMG_2430_zps4a2eee58.jpg

Then clearcoat was shot and car taken out of spray booth. I'm pleased enough with the paint job considering I did everything myself.

Now I've started on the drivetrain. Transferbox first thing to be attacked.

Going to install uprated differentials and input shaft from ATD Performane.

CAM00024_zps87db85d7.jpg

CAM00031_zpsd48bba76.jpg

Also starting to look at the gearbox output shaft. I need to have some machining done to install 2 shear pins in addition to the 10 bolts.

This shaft is also new and improved from ATD Performance. It shall handle about engine torque of 800Nm in 2n'd gear upwards. 1st gear will probably not be a problem as I guess the boost pressure never gets the time to build up before one would need to change gear.

I finished up the transferbox, and started to find the gearbox parts I had lying around.

CAM00051_zps191d9128.jpg

Installed new bearings on input shaft

CAM00050_zps28d1fc5d.jpg

More assembly

CAM00061_zps2d4f07f9.jpg

Now box is assembled and ready apart from the output shaft that needs machining first...

CAM00137_zps8a5bdd7c.jpg

Also changed the input shaft seal

A little update. Long time since last now :)

Engine is now assembled:

CAM00143_zps2ee360c6.jpg

CAM00262_zpsk3pztkxh.jpg

CAM00356_zps683da9c6.jpg

And I've started to do bodywork on the doors. Was actually quite a lot of job and I'm still not entirely finished, missing a layer of sanding primer still and the paint itself.

CAM00343_zps63f4d01a.jpg

Inside done with primer

I've also put brake servo and master cylinder into place, and I'm at this point finished making up ned brake lines for the car. Took some time and effort that too.

CAM00228_zpse3c5a633.jpg

First one made.. and notice all the sanding dust on my freshly black painted parts :(

CAM00227_zps78aa49c7.jpg

Also added the hydraulic fluid return hoses while I was working under the rear subframe.

CAM00245_zps107fd1a8.jpg

Rear brakelines in place

CAM00242_zpsf914a01c.jpg

And also the fronts

Started trialfitting some more parts to engine compartment:

CAM00313_zpsac04ae84.jpg

And some resonance mats for the cabin

CAM00331_zps4460c6a2.jpg

Foam on top before orginal mat goes into place

CAM00335_zps3d667d35.jpg

Also finishing the fuel lines and changing the broken fuel level sender in the tank

CAM00390_zpsc5305097.jpg

Fuel tank with fuel lines

CAM00367_zps37b91f54.jpg

And new fuel pump in refurbed bracket (this is just the feed-pump)

Refurbed and slightly modified the height level sensor rod so it would be easier to remove and adjust later on to set the ridee height.

CAM00363_zpsbab5e0cb.jpg

Also got hold of a Holset HY35W turbo which should be able to pump around 450bhp.

Also had some Injector Dynamic 1000cc injectors delivered, so that should make it possible to max out everything else and still run E85 without fuelling problems.

CAM00372_zpsmuzq46pj.jpg

Also got my ATD Performancec output shaft back from machining (press fit pins between shaft and crownwheel should help keep it all fixed).

CAM00256_zps50e9af54.jpg

So then it was time for final assembly of the gearbox

I also magically managed to hold of a complete car loom and electronic speedometer (these are T16 specific) from Edgar Hadicke in NL. He's been to great help!

Complete loom

CAM00260_zpsmiezkory.jpg

Instrument (only T16 shows to 240km/t I believe)

CAM00261_zpsgb3auirf.jpg

Brembos at front now with brake hoses connected

Flex fuel sensor arrived, will tell ECU the ethanol content of the fuel, hence beeing able to blend between 98 oct and E85 at whatever ratio possible.

20140401_180004_zpsxrhaook2.jpg

Trialfitting clutch plate

20140408_204611_zpsfe0a490e.jpg

And had to get the exhaust manifold flange machined as it was really warped like a banana

20140423_084022_zpsie72iojs.jpg

Finally decided to start off with the standard clutch, mainly because I didn't find any better alternative. Hopefully it'll hold enough torque for a while :)
