The inside is wearing a lot.

Would that be too much toe-in or toe-out?

It's the 405 2.1 TD :) I just set the toe kinda without caring about it at all.

Probably gonna fix it before I put on winter tires.

Yes the camber is totally standard.

It's all that torque and your heavy feet

Always :) Will try to up the boost on it soon, got myself one of those cheap valves to adjust the boost.

And add some more diesel again so it will smoke totally black :D

Hehe.. It started with buying a 1.9TD 405 with blown headgasket.

After a while of trying to fix it, it seemed that either the block or head was cracked. So I started to convert it to a 2.1 TD. (Quite strong engine in a 405 really).

Not till after the MOT :)

I think I need to take the subframe off to actually get to the turbo and put on the adjuster valve for the boost.

Changed the rear beam on the 405 for a Berlingo heavy duty one.

Things fitted mostly perfect, apart from the bushes I had bought didn't fit, front bushes on heavy duty versions are special and main dealer only.

Also the PArtner / Berlingo beams miss the holes for the handbrake cables to go through, but apart from that it is a straight fit.

Just thought I would share some pics.

The old bearings actually was in so good nick I couldn't see any wear, so I put them back on, they were 3 years since new now.

A lot of propeller shaft grease was used, as I find that extra water resistant :) Mounted with new 21.3mm torsion bars. Stiffer than standard, but should ideally have some matching rear dampers.
