Rear Window Rubber Seal

Recommended Posts

Now that my car is caged, I want to respray the inside (light grey like the 406 touring cars) which would require removing the rear screen-front is already out. Getting the old one out is no problem using the proper tool, but they can still damage the seal (8346 32) & its now nla.

So does anyone know if a pattern one is available?

Cheers

never asked around as yet, but it is a trim not a seal as such.

Will also need new "seal" I guess.. need to ask around.

Called dealer, and got told NFP as you did.

Then Called Saint-Gobain dealer, thay had several in stock at main warehouse in Oslo.

I was intending on getting the proper tool, but yesterday had a go at it with a Stanley knife. Worked a treat only breaking one blade & taking skin off two knuckles!

Couldn't save the rubber seal/trim, although now that it's out I think bonding it back in will work fine. The stainless steel trims will no longer be able to be fitted 'tho but as its a track car not a problem.
